Longtime evangelist Billy Graham, (now age 93), ranked favorably in two recent polls. For the 55th time since 1955, he has appeared in the USA Today/Gallup list of Most Admired Men — he was fourth on this year’s list. While he’s never been first, he has been second on eight occasions. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association says that his 55 years in the Top 10 stands alone — far ahead of Ronald Reagan (who has appeared on the list 31 times), Pope John Paul II (27) and former President Jimmy Carter (27).
Billy released his 30th book in October, Nearing Home: Life, Faith and Finishing Well (Thomas Nelson).
