Connie Hopper Completes Radiation Treatment
Contributor Two Contributor Two
After being in remission from breast cancer for 35 years, Connie Hopper had surgery last September to remove a malignant mass found during a mammogram. She reported that all went well, and was welcomed with a standing ovation when she surprised everyone by performing at NQC later that month.

However, she still had to undergo radiation, which she completed on March 18. That day, Dean Hopper tweeted: “Moments ago, Mom rang the bell at the cancer center celebrating her last radiation treatment. Praise the Lord!”

Connie reports that she is “glad to be finished with treatments and I am thankful for each and every prayer sent up on my behalf. Thank you.” The family is very grateful for all the prayers and support during this difficult time, and we were glad to see this Hoppers update on March 27: "Miss Connie is out on the road, touring with the rest of the gang this weekend!"
