Dolly Parton will host a benefit to raise funds for the victims of the devastating wildfires in Gatlinburg and surrounding areas in Tennessee. "Smoky Mountains Rise: A Benefit for the My People Fund" will air tonight, December 13, at 8 p.m. EST on television as well as via live stream on various sites.

The three-hour telethon will air on the Great American Country channel, AXS-TV, RFD and the Heartland Network, and be simulcast across multiple stations, including iHeart Media's digital and on-air platforms, Cumulus Media's NASH Nights LIVE and TuneIn's Country Roads channel. It will also stream live via knoxnews.com, usatoday.com, commercialappeal.com and Tennessean.com.

Parton will be joined by musical guests including Hank Williams Jr., Alabama, Cyndi Lauper, Don McLean, Ronnie Dunn, Jamey Johnson, Lauren Alaina, Big & Rich, Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers, Alison Krauss, Chris Stapleton, Chris Young and Amy Grant. In addition, celebrities such as Jason Crabb, Larry Gatlin, Dailey & Vincent, Paula Deen, Henry Cho and T.G. Sheppard will man the phones during the telethon.

“Every day I’m touched even more by the number of people who are joining us to help raise money for the people of the Smoky Mountains,” says Parton, who was born in Sevierville, Tennessee. “It is a special place and I’m honored that these people care so much about what we’re doing through the My People Fund to help those who have lost everything due to the wildfires.”

The concert will benefit those affected by the wildfires that swept through Sevier County, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge earlier this month. Fourteen people died in the blaze and thousands of strictures were damaged or destroyed. Residents of Gatlinburg were forced to evacuate for more than a week.

Parton's "My People Fund" has pledged $1000 each month for up to six months to Sevier County families who lost their homes in the wildfires. During the telethon, viewers will be asked to call 1-866-CARE-MORE to donate, and online contributions can be made at dollywoodfoundation.org.
