In a video announcement posted on YouTube, Ernie Haase and Doug Anderson have announced that after almost 13 years of ministry with the group, Doug will be stepping down from his position in Signature Sound to pursue a full-time solo career.

Doug had this to say about his time with the group; "Well, of course the last 13 years, we have done everything. And what an amazing ride it has been. I've actually lived a dream. This is all I've ever wanted to do. And through the platform Ernie has given me, and the platform of this group through being able to step out and do stuff on my own as a soloist, which is something I never thought I'd be able to do; with the success of that and the help of so many friends ... it's just a different season in life." Doug also talked about his desire to spend more time with his family.

Ernie Haase said in a statement about Doug, "He's my brother, and he's an original member. As much as I'm going to miss him on stage, I'm going to miss him more as a friend. We're traveling buddies ... Doug is welcome on our bus at any time. He's a member of Stowtown Records ... I couldn't be happier for him."

Doug's last performances with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will be June 19th and 20th.
