The GMA (Gospel Music Association) will hold the inaugural GMA Honors Ceremony on Tuesday, April 29, at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville. The event celebrates 2014's inductees into the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame as well as individuals and organizations that are impacting our culture globally both past and present.

Hall of Fame inductees include the Gaither Vocal Band, producer Brown Bannister, Take 6 and (posthumously) Rich Mullins. The first-ever GMA Honors recipients include Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones, praise and worship leader Don Moen, pastor Michael Guido and world-renowned nonprofit organizations Show Hope and World Vision. Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant are among those scheduled to perform at the ceremony.

GMA Executive Director Jackie Patillo looks forward to the event, saying, “We’re excited about this opportunity to raise awareness for the legacy of gospel music. Each of these inductees or honorees has made a definitive mark on the fabric of our musical tapestry. While each has different gifts and has contributed in different ways, all of their stories highlight God’s faithfulness. We’ll be able to celebrate this through GMA Honors with some very special friends and truly inspiring performances.”
