If you are already feeling a little hurried during this holiday season, as many of us do, take a deep breath. Whether all the cookies get baked or we find the perfect gift for everyone is, of course, not really the point.

Let's take some time in these weeks to sit down, light some candles, and ponder the miracle of the King of Kings wrapping Himself in skin, coming to Earth as a fragile newborn. Go over those familiar Scripture verses, and maybe read a bit of Ann Voskamp's The Greatest Gift or Louie Giglio's Waiting Here for You. Breathe deep ... and enjoy.
