In Acts 16, we see Paul and Silas arrested, stripped, beaten severely, and thrown into prison. Yet in prison, they keep on praising God ... and not only praising Him, but doing so out loud, so that the other prisoners could hear them. Such boldness! Then came the miracles...

It is not always easy to keep praising God in the midst of all the trials we go through, or even when we watch the news and see so many tragic things happening throughout the world. Let's remember to keep praying for those who are suffering, encouraging each other ... and singing praise to God even in the hard times, when we may not feel like it. And we, too, may see miracles...

A thought from the Word...

Psalm 43:5
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
