Paraphrasing from the Christian Post, during colonial times, marriage and fatherhood were culturally viewed as being among the highest aspirations in a man's life. Though our cultural values certainly have shifted somewhat, we thank God for those husbands, fathers and grandfathers who take seriously the importance of their roles in the family and intentionally create opportunities to sow love, wisdom and faith into their children's lives.

The Collingsworth Family and friends are celebrating as Phillip Collingsworth Jr. exchanges vows with his beautiful bride, Sharlenae Faith Dotson. The sweet couple became engaged in June 2013, and they are tying the knot this evening in Indiana. We'll post photos and info about the ceremony on Facebook as they become available.
