"By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer."

—   Helen Hunt Jackson

Can you believe September has rolled around already? We're just a stone's throw from Thanksgiving and Christmas! I have enjoyed the summer, but I'm definitely looking forward to the leaves exploding in color (and crunching under my feet!), the flavors of caramel apples, cider and pumpkin, and maybe even gathering around a fire with loved ones to make s'mores. How about you? What do you look forward to most in this season?

A thought from the Word ...

Psalm 85:11-12
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
