A thought from the Word...
1 Peter 1:3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

|Homecoming reader Dixie Phillips is a pastor's wife from northern Iowa and a long-time Gaither fan. She sent us a story called "The Champion," an incredible testimony of how God intervened in her family, and how the Gaither song "Because He Lives" helped to bring hope and healing during a time of great struggle. It's a compelling and uplifting story about God's mysterious ways that is sure to bring encouragement to many. To read "The Champion," click here!|
