Can you feel spring coming yet?

Although there's still a chill in the air, my daffodils have already raised their yellow heads, so I have hope that spring can’t be too far away.  Besides the flowers and the warmer weather, I love spring because it speaks of new beginnings, of the fresh start that God brings each morning. I hope you are enjoying the new beginning that the Father offers today!

Today's issue features the latest from Guy Penrod, a Grammy recap, a Homecoming Radio contest and more! And, we want to hear what's on your mind, so here's today's question: What's your favorite song by the Gaither Vocal Band....and why? To give us your answer, click here.

And congratulations to Tonya D., who won our Valentine's Day contest with her hilarious wedding story.  If you haven't had the chance to read it (plus the many other funny stories that were submitted), just click here. Tonya's is the first one on the page, and if it doesn't tickle your funny bone, I don't know what will!

A thought from the Word…

Isaiah 43:19

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Speaking of new things, Guy Penrod's upcoming album, Hymns, will be released on March 27th, but it's available for pre-order now! And, everyone who pre-orders the CD will automatically receive a free bonus download of Guy singing "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." The album has a country flavor and features favorite hymns such as "Leaning On the Everlasting Arms," "He Hideth My Soul" and a duet with George Beverly Shea, "Does Jesus Care." Although some categories were cut this year (in multiple genres, including gospel), several Christian artists were excited to win Grammys at the 2012 ceremonies held earlier this month.  Kirk Franklin, Laura Story, Chris Tomlin and Le'Andria Johnson were all honored to receive awards, and you can read more about it here.
