Here in the U.S., we are excited once again to celebrate our nation's independence on July 4. Parades, cookouts, fireworks, flags, concerts and more!

So we'd love to know... how will you be spending Independence Day? We'd like to celebrate with you by giving one winner a copy of Twila Paris' wonderful CD, God Shed His Grace: Songs of Truth and Freedom. This is a powerful collection of 10 songs including some of Twila's classic hits, new songs and patriotic favorites. To enter, please compete these two steps: 1) Email your name and address to with "July 4th" in the subject line, and 2) leave a comment on this page, telling us how you'll be celebrating the 4th. We'll draw a random winner this Friday, June wishes to everyone!

Speaking of winners, we'd like to congratulate Monty R., Donna H. and Patricia O., whose names were drawn in our "We Love Dad" contest!

A thought from the Word...

John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

How many of you love the song "Sometimes I Cry," performed by Jason Crabb? Well, we'd like to congratulate Crabb family patriarch Gerald Crabb, who has just won a BMI Performance Award for writing this moving song. For more about that, just click here!
We were sad to hear the news that Anthony Burger's mother, Jean Thompson Burger, passed away on June 21 after a long illness. She will be laid to rest June 27 in Cleveland, Tenn., between her husband, Richard and son, Anthony. You can read more about her life here.
Some of you may have already seen this on Facebook, but it bears repeating! Former members of the Cathedrals and current groups birthed out of that legendary quartet will convene for a Cathedrals Reunion in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 8-9. We were able to chat with Ernie Haase, Gerald Wolfe, Scott Fowler, Mark Trammell and Landon Beene about this landmark event, and the laughs and stories just kept rolling. Read that interview here!
Ready for some more SocialCam videos? Well, we are too! This week, Jeff & Sheri Easter pop in for a chat as they're on the way to celebrate their anniversary; The Booth Brothers team up with Gene McDonald for a great rendition of "Roll On, Jordan"; we catch up with Kelly Nelon Clark's "talking" dog Sam; and the very tired Isaacs turn on the camera and present a performance that is, shall we say, not quite up to their usual standards (all in fun, of course!) Watch here!
We're getting some wonderful feedback from you about our July/August issue, which explored the topic of dealing with loss. Don't tell anyone, but our theme for Sept/Oct. will be... those wonderful women of Homecoming! We have some exciting interviews lined up, and we think you'll love it! If you're not a subscriber yet, don't miss out! Or maybe you know someone who would enjoy a gift subscription...either way, click here for subscription information or you can call us at 1-800-527-5226.
