Yesterday the twig was brown and bare;
To-day the glint of green is there;
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!

Happy first day of spring, everyone!

In today’s issue, we announce the winners of our Crabby Caption Contest!  Thanks to everyone who entered, and you’re all winners in our book!

And we’d love to hear from you, if you’ll take just a moment to answer this question:

Besides the Gaither Vocal Band (whom we hope you all love!), who is your favorite Southern Gospel group, and what makes them stand out to you? To give us your answer, just click here!

A thought from the Word…

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for! (Well, some of you, at least.) A big thank-you goes out to everyone who entered our Crabby Caption Contest; we had fun reading all of your creative entries.  It was hard to pick winners out of all the great captions, but it had to be done....click here to read the winning entries, and some of the great honorable mentions. We hope you'll enjoy them as much as we did!  More contests coming your way soon...
An exciting new Homecoming DVD is in the works, to be released in the fall!  You know the Booth Brothers as a high-energy bunch, with tight harmonies, a great sense of humor and a slew of awards throughout their career.  You may also have seen them performing on a Gaither Homecoming tour.  But you may not have gotten the chance to get to know them, up close and personal.  Well, last week, Gaither Studios hosted the Booth Brothers, and the guys sat down with Bill to talk about their faith, their families and their music.  After the interview, they all ended up harmonizing around the piano, and a good time was had by all.  The result of this will be a brand-new Gaither Homecoming DVD, to be released in the fall.  If you're a Booth Brothers fan, don't miss it! To see some pictures from the taping, click here!
Some of you have been asking about Gaither tour dates; we hope you will all have a chance to enjoy a Homecoming concert in the near future! For the tour schedule, just click here. Or you might want to make plans to attend one of the multi-day Gaither Fest events, which feature lots of great music and speakers...for details, click here. For Family Fest in the Smokies (coming up in May!), click here, and for information about the Alaskan Cruise coming up in July, just click here!
OK, we said there were more contests coming your way soon....and soon is now!  If you have read this far, then you deserve a chance to win a copy of Russ Taff's Dove Award-nominated album, Faroe Islands!  But of course, it wouldn't be any fun unless you had to do something for it, right? (well, at least no fun for us :)  So, the first person that sends the correct answer to the contest question to dpatterson@salempublishing.com will be the winner! And here's the question: Who is (or was) Russ Taff's favorite singer?  (Hint: the answer just might be somewhere on Russ's website....but we're not telling where!)  Have fun!
