March is just marching on...

It seems like the year just began, and we're already into the third month of 2012! If you've been on Facebook, you've seen that we had two big birthdays last weekend...Jason Crabb celebrated his last Saturday, March 3rd, and Gloria Gaither's birthday was the very next day! If you haven't seen Jason pictured with his three birthday cakes, be sure to visit our Facebook page here. Gloria is celebrating in the best way...with one of those "extended" birthdays! Her birthday came right at the end of the Gaither Caribbean cruise, so that was a nice present in itself.  She's spending some time this week with family and friends and will soon travel to Nashville to celebrate with more family....sounds like a great way to celebrate.

And speaking of Jason, we are having a "Crabby" Caption contest...just read on to find out how you can win a copy of his latest CD! Today's issue also features great news about comedian Ken Davis, Alaskan cruise information and more!

We want to hear from you! We loved all of the great responses from last week's question, so here's another one for you: If you could only have one book for the rest of your life (in addition to the Bible), what would it be and why? To answer, just click here!

A thought from the Word…

Ecclesiastes 3:11

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

In honor of Jason Crabb’s recent slew of Dove award nominations (see more about that here), and since it was his birthday last Saturday, we’re celebrating by having a “Crabby” Caption contest! We have picture of Jason, and we want you to come up with a funny caption for it.  To enter the contest and earn your chance to win a copy of Jason’s CD,  The Song Lives On, just click here!
Fresh from the 2012 Gaither Caribbean Cruise, hilarious comedian, best-selling author and Homecoming friend Ken Davis will now appear on the big screen! Screenvision is partnering with Ken Davis Productions to bring the film Ken Davis: Fully Alive to 150 movie theaters across the U.S. on March 22 and March 25, 2012. Using humor and insight appealing to all ages, Davis challenges people to grow in their relationships with God, family and friends. For theater locations or to purchase tickets, click here!
Well, the Gaithers and Homecoming crew are just back from their Caribbean cruise (rough life, isn’t it?), but there’s still time to book your spot for the Alaskan cruise! Scheduled to begin July 20th, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking unspoiled beauty of Alaska while hearing great gospel music and rubbing elbows with the your favorite Homecoming artists.  For more details, click here!
What's in a name? We explore that question in our latest "The Song Says It" devotional, based on the popular Gaither Vocal Band song "Alpha and Omega." You can read it here, and we hope it will bless your day.  Feel free to leave a comment at the end of the article...we always love to hear from you!
