It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is nearly here! Whether you’ll be slaving over a hot oven, enjoying time with friends and family or helping to serve meals for the less fortunate, we hope that God will bring to mind many reasons to be thankful this year.

We appreciate those of you who entered our “Sharing the Love” contest…we had many wonderful entries, and judging was very tough. Congratulations to Sarah D., Darlene W. and Peggy R., who took top honors this time! You can read their winning entries here. Congratulations to all 10 winners of the “Angelic Voices” drawing too…we have contacted all winners through email and are in the process of shipping out the prizes.

A thought from the Word…

Psalm 100:4-5

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Continuing our "Five Questions" series, we recently caught up with bass singer Gene McDonald during Gaither Fest at Myrtle Beach (which was a blast, by the way...hope to see you there next year!). Gene was charming as always, and you can see that video by clicking here ... enjoy!
You may have heard that Jason Crabb and Sandi Patty are going on tour together this Christmas...what a fun tour that will be! The two recently teamed up with World Vision and scheduled an extra stop to their tour with a Nov. 24th concert to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy. To read more about that, just click here.
Do you occasionally need a “wake-up call” when it comes to being grateful? I think we all do; it can be so easy to take blessings for granted at times, and we shouldn’t just save thanksgiving for one day a year! Those who practice gratitude tend to lead happier and healthier lives. Singer/speaker/blogger Chance Scoggins has written a thoughtful post with an inspiring challenge for all of us, and you can read that here!
New concert dates are being added to the Gaither Homecoming tour! Added to the GVB’s repertoire of classic favorites will be songs from their most recent release, Pure and Simple, which is getting rave reviews from fans. Find out if they are coming to a city near you by clicking here!
