Jeff & Sheri Easter — Back In The Studio
Contributor Two Contributor Two
Jeff & Sheri Easter have returned to the studio to record a new CD. The couple has been working hard at Ocean Way studio in Nashville, and they are very excited about the project. Producing the album along with Greg Cole, for the first time, son Madison also joins the production team. According to Sheri, one of her favorite moments so far is recording Mahalia Jackson’s “Standing Here Wondering,” previously sung by her mother Polly and the legendary Lewis Family. Jeff plans to perform the hymn “I Won’t Have To Worry Anymore” with his dad, James Easter of North Carolina’s Easter Brothers. This song is special to both Jeff and Sheri, because it was playing as Jeff’s mother passed away last August. Sheri and Madison co-wrote a new song for the album—“I Know How It Feels To Survive,” which is especially meaningful to Sheri, who celebrates being cancer-free for four years in July. The new CD is expected to release later this year.
