On Friday, Sept. 9, Jeff Chapman of the Southern Gospel quartet Kingdom Heirs was taken to the ER with high blood pressure and elevated troponin levels. A stress test showed a blockage on the right side of the heart.

On Saturday, the bass vocalist was transported to Fort Sanders hospital in Knoxville where they performed a heart catheterization and discovered three blockages. On Sunday, Chapman underwent surgery where they placed three stents.

Jeff was able to return home Monday, Sept. 12, where he is recovering. Prayers are appreciated for Jeff and his family as he heals from the surgery.
