I have a window by which I sit.
I sit by my window each morning to pray,
And see the wonderful gifts God puts on display,
It’s a special window by which I sit.
I watch the seasons change and hear the birds sing,
See winter snows and colors of spring,
It’s a special window by which I sit.
In the spring when the dogwood shows its pink,
“Oh what a beautiful sight,” I think,
It’s a special window by which I sit.
The birds come to the feeders, a parade of color and sound,
Cardinals and bluebirds and finches abound,
It’s a special window by which I sit.
I feel so blessed as I sit there each day,
Knowing He loves me and shows me the way,
It’s a special window by which I sit.
