I had the honor of meeting Wes Hampton
a year or so ago when our church hosted
a concert. Wes is such a wonderful and
genuine person and so very talented.
My minister of music and I also had the
opportunity to sing a trio with Wes, and I
was so overwhelmed by merely being on
a stage with him that I forgot the words.
But Wes kindly stepped behind me and
whispered the words. I try to stay in contact
with Wes and truly appreciate how
gracious he is. After the concert, we were
able to take him out to supper and caught
a picture of us on our way.
