Question #24 from the April 30, 2013 newsletter:

Losses of all kinds are an inevitable part of life: loss of job, loss of hair, loss of innocence, loss of home, loss of health, loss of a spouse or parent or child or friend, loss of a dream or an opportunity. We all go through it, but how do we deal with loss, and what eternal perspective do we gain through such an experience? Would you tell us about a time of loss in your own life and what God taught you through it? Also, was there something really thoughtful or helpful that another person did for you during that time?
