Hosted by gospel music icon Bill Gaither and produced by the band—Jeff Cook, Teddy Gentry and Randy Owen— the Angels Among Us DVD features a concert performance of some of Alabama’s most treasured gospel songs, many of which they grew up singing, as well as a new rendition of the title cut. The group also talks about those gospel music roots and their faith in a behind-the-scenes interview with Bill. Adding a sweet, personal touch is Randy's mother, Martha Owen, who makes a guest appearance at the piano during the concert performance.
The trio says, “We are so grateful that the Bill Gaither organization wanted to partner with us on this album and DVD. Not only did we get to pick the songs we wanted to record, but we also got to film the DVD special in our hometown of Fort Payne, Alabama, at Jeff’s home, Cook Castle. This project was from the heart.”
